My experience is that travelling alone opens up multiple possibilities for cultural exchange that are denied those who travel in groups. I sought to make the bike look friendly and fun too.
And for the first time ever I decided to give the machine a name.. hence Molto Gelato to hint at it’s provenance   

The United Kingdom has always welcomed genuine refugees whilst the right wing objects to "economic migrants". David Cameron is both empathetic and shrewd. With the shift in UK opinion he can allow thousands of suffering refugees from Syria into the country in a regulated manner; moreover, they won't have to undertake the horrendous and hazardous journey across Europe.
